GAS STATION ATTENDANT (CASUAL & ON CALL)

 

JOB SUMMARY

Reporting to the Gas Station Manager, the Gas Station Attendant is for operating and maintaining the ‘Namgis gas station in a safe, courteous and efficient manner.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Open per the procedures as outlined in the Gas Station policies and procedures manual
  • Collect payment for gas purchases prior to authorizing fill-up
  • Collect payment for tobacco purchases and record on appropriate forms
  • Complete daily tobacco inventory count and related paperwork when returning the products to the accounting department to the gas station
  • Return cash, sale slips and float to the accounting office daily
  • Lock up the station as per the procedures outlined in the Gas Station policies and procedures manual
  • Perform scheduled maintenance as per the policies and procedures manual
  • Emergency response
  • Report any operating problems immediately to Gas Station Manager
  • Other related duties as may be required from time to time

 

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Grade 12 or equivalent
  • Computer literacy
  • Cash and inventory skills
  • Customer service experience
  • Level One First Aid
