Our system of governance is divided into two basic functions:
1) an elected Chief and Band
Council who make policy decisions that represent the wishes and needs
of members, to ensure that democracy is alive and well;
2) an administration
made up of professionals who carry out those policies and manage
day-to-day operations, and whose job is to ensure that good management
is alive and well.
